Shouldn't be a problem provided you use either a patched DSDT or a BIOS mod (if one is available for your board).

Well for DSDT most people use a DSDT patcher as to which one they prefer I couldn't tell you as I code my own. You can just go0gle DSDT Patcher though. BIOS mods are harder to come by what kind of BIOS do you got Phoenix, AMI?

My BIOS is AMI. The DSDT patchers I found only work on OSX Leopard 10.5. Is there any patcher which runs on windows?

Well if you plan on installing a Snow distro it will probably have the patcher on there most do. If you weren't try Koala's patcher, but use it for DSDT only! You running Vista or Windows 7? Were you wanting to convert totally to Mac or double boot?

I am using Windows 7. I just want to install Snow Leopard. I'll come back to windows if I find mac difficult to use.

Okay well you can go with a Snow distro (easiest), retail using a flash drive, or using a boot disc. If you go for retail try Koala's Patcher . If you should want a BIOS mod PM me. Hope this helps, gotta run .
