Well, short question but need so many short answers.
one of the answer: -legal term-
buying it is legit(and you can do it from internet too. )
and that is as far as you can get if you want it legit in hackintosh, having the disk legally.
because the next step is..a hack in tosh..

Actually purchasing the disk and using it on non Apple hardware isn't legit either (it breaks the Eula). A common misperception . I won't give advice whether you should buy or don't buy but whatever your choice I would think about going the USB route for installation. It gives you more room to maneuver.

that is what i was saying..buying it(having the disk by purchasing)　is legit, that is all, the next step, which is installing it on non apple pc (a.k.a hack in tosh) is..a hack (i will not say the 'word' opposite of legit )

anyway, may be what he meant was the technical stuff between installing retail and distro...where you can be my guest and explain it to him.
