ATL1E Ethernet not working
Hey all,
I installed iATKOS S3 v2, its runs ok, all but the ethernet, now i know i have an ATL1E atheros lan card but ive NEVER manged to get it working, with leopard installing kext and with snow leopard using kexts and installed kext via cd.
Someone please tell me how to get this card working!
Also is there a tool like osx86 tools that can get hardware accelerated graphics from your gpus at the click of a button for Snow leopard? OSX86 tools doesnt seem to work on snow, it just crashes everytime i try to see it has worked after restarting.

You would need to know the network model/device ID to find kext for it. Some OSX86Tools work on SL. You graphic card may need kexts and injecting string using OSX86 would be the last option.

Sorry for sounding like a noob, but network model/device ID for what? i know i need and have installed the kext for the atheros ATL1E and i know for certain that is the LAN card i have, unless you meant something else?
Also my gfx card is a 9600M GT which i think is in some macs, i have installed NVenabler and it seems to work fine, on OSX 10.5.x after hitting the enable hardware acceleration (quei or what ever it is called) it worked a treat. However when trying to do the same on 10.6.3 and hitting restart after enabling, when trying to open OSX and hitting quei to see if it has worked, the program just crashes

You're really confusing me. I thought your questions are there because you did not install the right kexts (whether they are available or not), and that are why they're not working.
If you know your hardware and already got the right kexts for them then you could forget about my suggestion.
