In the combos here at hackontosh it says that asus p5q deluxe i supported... how can i install leopard or snow leopard??

I am giving up now... I have tried iaktos_v7, ideneb and ipc. Nothing works...

my hardware is asus p5q deluxe... ide hdd. I dont want to install on my sata win7 hdd.

ideneb install, but wont boot up...

what to do???

For my case

P5Q Deluxe + Q6600 + HD4550 + SATA harddisk.... Using Snow Leopard Universal 10.6(432)GM

Work on -X (safe mode) due to ATI HD4550 cards issue. I planning change the VGA to N9600, hope can work as normal.....

What was your method to installation? Did you have a 10.5.... installed already on the box and you installed 10.6 to a different hdd? Or did you use a boot 1-2-3 disc? I have tried several methods and even a modded bios. Always getting a KP of some sort. If I try to get iPC installed I get either the waiting for root device message, and if i enter rd=disk0 I get a ntfs blah blah blah KP.

Any help is appreciated. I have the same board as you guys btw.

Yeah theres support for this mobo, actually theres guides for it, google a bit and report back your progress ;D

I burn the DVD using Snow Leopard Universal 10.6(432)GM and install the modify BIOS.

Bootup from sata DVD and install at sata HD. I never try 10.5 before, just install 10.6. But i only can start using -x to safe mode and the bios will auto reset everytime....spinme

Still trying change the VGA cards due to unable to found the driver.....spinme

Whats your video card? did you add efi strings?

Change my VGA to ndivia 8600GT, work as normal....

Any word on getting SL installed on a ASUS P5Q Deluxe mobo? I have 10.5.2 (Kalaway), GeForce 8600GTS EGA, SATA 1TB HDD, running now with no issues.
I've tried a couple guides, without luck.
