Anyone tried out Hackintosh on Sandy Bridge ?
Here are the PC configs that I am going to buy
Intel Core i7 2600K CPU.
Asus P8P67Pro Motherboard.
Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz 8GB ( 4GB x 2 ) RAM
Palit Geforce GTX 560 Ti 2GB edition on PCIe 2.0 x 16 slot as primary card and
MSI Geforce 9600GT 512 MB edition on PCIe Black Slot at x4 as physx card.
1TB 7200RPM HDD, as single drive split into 10 partitions of about 100GB each.
Optical DVD Drive.
I know that Sandy Bridge support hasn't come to be supported by mac, but I want to know if the current Mac OSX Snow leopard can be installed in these specs. I heard that the new sandy bridge Asus Motherboards use UEFI Bios, so there needs to be much more tweaking in the Bios to help install Hackintosh.
And I will be using the Windows 7 OS and Ubuntu 10.1 on parallel with the setup. Also I will Overclock my CPU to 4.5GHz coz I am gettin the Corsair H70 Liquid CPU cooler, and may also think of a 5 Ghz OC. Does hackintosh support OC chips.
Also I would like to know if Hackintosh would support such dual GPU setups, that don't use SLI or Crossfire. Or should I go on with the GTX 560 alone and discard the old 9600GT.
So I am eager to know if anyone has installed Hackintosh on Sandy Bridge, and please state me the changes I will have to do in the Bios, if possible.
