Default AMD Athlon X2 4800+ CPU with GA-MA69GM-S2H Motherboard using 4GB of memory

I'd like to try setting up a Hackintosh using the above core system components...

the memory installed is 2x 2GB DDR2-800MHz sticks of memory

I also have an ATI Radeon HD5450 Graphics Card with 512MB of Memory on that.

I've currently got a Linux ReiserFS prepared filesystem I can re-organize to use if required (I have ~96GB of free space on the partition itself) and I am prepared to delete a ~100GB Windows 7 partition on the same drive.

However I do not have the option of creating any kind of boot setup currently unless an 8GB or larger USB drive becomes available and I can set that up from a virtual machine.

Can anyone give me options as to what I can try for getting this to work with a Hackintosh bootstrap?

I have purchased Snow Leopard and would like to use that with this machine
(I do not have any Apple branded hardware, only the Snow Leopard software)

So what you want to do actually? Install OSX86 along your LINUX without repartitioning or bootmanager?

I can "move/resize" partitions as required but I would like to retain the existing reiserfs linux partition and change the Windows 7 Enterprise partition of 75GB to being reformatted as Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

I currently have only the Windows 7 system working and ISO CD Images for Nawcom to bootstrap SnowLeopard.

if I require putting a 10 or 20 GB partition between the existing Linux and Windows fs partitions then I will do so.

Other than sorting out conversion of the .DMG file that I have SnowLeopard's installer encased in I simply need to work out either building a Virtual Machine I can later convert into a proper partition or setting up an installer for installing into a proper partition.

Just trying to comprehend a path where I can make this happen.

I am not 100% sure, but you are using MBR scheme i guess? Building a VM is always a bit messy and totaly depends on the VM software if successful or not. Converting it to a partition might be quite tiresome, especially if you start of with VMWare or similar.

    Maybe this guide can help?
Dual Boot Snow Leopard and XP

Still your machine is AMD, so I vanilla is opt out for you, you might need to use a pre made disc.

Reading that guide... it lists the requirement of an existing Mac OS X machine... this is something I do not have nor will be able to obtain access to...

is there any guide where I can replace use of an external mac and actively build a working installer on a partition?

or will I need to completely hack out my own path with this?

I am familiar with AmigaOS, Linux and Windows however I am unfamiliar with Mac OS X beyond seeing videos of it.
    if that is any help?
