Default After weeks, still having trouble...

    Hi there,

I've been lurking around, trying to find some details on how to get OSX installed on my laptop without bothering people, but it seems like I really can't find anything, so I am having to give in and ask.

I really hope someone can help.

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L550 17T and the specs are duly pasted from Amazon below. If anyone has any ideas, please do feel free to post them and I will be more than happy to try them out.

So far I've been trying to use either iAtkos s3 v2 or a Snow Leopard retail DVD with the help of iBoot. Both of these let me get as far as the first Apple logo, with the spinning circle underneath, but it stays there for hours and simply doesn't move.

    Anyway....specs

    Default

Should be able to install OSX using iAtkos or SnowOSX (and/or iBoot) with correct boot options and BIOS settings.
Try boot option -v for possible error message.
