Hi, I'm really new to all this. Though i really want a mac. PCs just aren't all that. I have an Acer Aspire 5251 Laptop and it has an AMD Processor. I'm not sure what other information you need but if you need more just ask. I am wondering if i could install Mac Snow Leopard on my laptop and it work properly. I understand that it wont work 100% but that is okay.

Also if something goes wrong or i decide to go back to windows, can this be reversed with recovery disk created by my computer?

I would not waste my time trying to install on an AMD board, I would suggest trying on an intel board, however if you really want to try, I have heard some people have had success with iATKOS distribution, which you can download. I believe you must have the newer AMD Athlon X-2 processors. That being said, you have not provided any specs at all to your laptop.

You can also try PCLinuxOS - its free and installs great on just about anything.

As for restoring windows, just back up all your files and make a restoration cd.
