I am trying to install osx86 on a 4 yr old uniwill laptop with the following specs: pentium dothan 725, 1gb DDR 333, SO DIMM 200-pin DDR SDRAM, 256mb ati radeon 9700, Intel 855PM & Intel ICH4M chipset, 80gb 2.5" 9.5mm HDD Ultra ATA 100, AC'97 audio.

I tried ideneb 1.4, ipc 10.5.6 and the last ie tried was toh x86_9a581 rc2 which started the install, then hung at the following screen:


What am I doing wrong? Unfortunately, I can almost not change anything in my bios.

Try other distros, one of them has to work. I went through 3 distros before I got one (iDeneb) that worked on my PC. Also, only load the drivers you will know for a fact will work. Especially wrong display drivers can kill your installation on the spot.

The problem is that even before the actual install, the install hangs. This has happened with all 3 distributions.
