    Default XxX 10.5.6 PPF1 MAC - Boot problems

    Ok installed this version with some drivers and installed successfully. But when it reboots it just keeps spinning and spinning no progress. Here are my specs

    I did the -v in verbose mode i gives me the last line : Couldnt read user specified name :

    Graphics Driver :
    ASUS EAH3870series
    Processor:
    Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 2.40 GHZ
    4 Networkadapters :
    1394-networkcard
    Atheros L1 Gigabit Ethernet 10/100
    VMWARE Virtual Ethernet Adapter for vmnet1
    VMWARE Virtual Ethernet Adapter for VMnet8

    Dont know if this helps with my problem but i do hope so

    Are you installing this in vmware?
    HP Pavilion Elite m9250f

    No i burned it on a DVD. And installed it succesfully, So not in vmware wich doesnt work with this one

    i searched on google and it found this site wich one person had the same problem as me but nobody responded to it

    Did you customize your installation? how?
    try this when darwin appear:
    cpus=1 -v -x
    good luck

    Yeah i did customized my installation i selected of each section 1 driver

    Can you please post what did you select? and did you try cpus=1 -v -x in darwin?

    No im going to try that and i chose my own graphic card and 1 one ethernet cable and one kernel and one audio driver

    But the problem is i dont know what the name of them were so...

    EDIT : Reinstalling im going to tell you what drivers i chose

    Installed succesfully

    Bootloader:
    Chameleon SMBIOS

    Kernel:
    Modbin_9.4.0

    Chipset:
    Atix200_sb450PATA

    GraphicsDrivers:
    ATI 3870

    Audio Drivers:
    Alc268

    Network:
    AtherosAR5004G

    Waiting for root device comes up when i type cpus=1 -v -x
