    Default XPC UEFI bootloader

Hi guys! I recently installed iphonetom's XPC bootloader (version 045.a 64bit) on a usb drive and it seems to work fine. I can boot my os v10.5.7 fine.
But I would like to have some tips/ informations about how to set things up (like system settings, efi shell usage e.t.c). I was searching through the net to find some informations, but it seems that the main thread of this project doesn't exist anymore. So if someone here has some experience with this bootloader, or knows any news about this whole project, and he is willing to share his knowledge with the community please respond!

    Thanks!

For starters, do yourself a favor by downloading rEFIt. To istall refit, do not run the refit installer, just copy the efi folder from the refit image to your USB pen drive. Reboot and you will be presented with the refit boot menu! Now you can dual boot os x with windows.

Also refit allows you to drop into the efi shell, use the partition tool and whatever it may offer you!

The settings are auto configured on boot. (e.g.) smbios, smbus(smartbattery) and the dev-props/kext-exclude are standard text format files that load efi strings and disable stock apple kexts. The extra-kext folder is self-explanatory... For now, hold on to your hats as xpc takes off like a 747.

    Cheers
