    Default working hackintosh for my hardware

    hi,
    i tested some distros long time ago and i dint got everything to work. now i want to ask what distro i should install on my computer

    Intel COre 2 Quad Q6600 @ 2,4 Ghz
    4 GB Ram
    Geforce 8800 GT 512 mb
    Internet: Fritz!WLAN USB Stick (router: FRITZ!Box Fon WLAN 7170 )
    Sound: standard onboard soundcard

    Last time i tried i coudnt get sound and internet to work.

    Seems compatible, can you post your Motherboard and chipset?

    Anyway did you try to boot with cpus=1?

    No i didnt. i dont know how to do it^^

    Someone know the driver for Fritz!WLAN USB Stick, because AVM (AVM - DSL, ISDN, Wireless, VoIP) provides dirver for any os except mac.
