Im new to hackintosh, and after many failed attemps with a biostar/AMD config (and IDE -__-) the system wont boot, and decided to move on over to a new build. I have a limited budget.

Right now i have got these:

Newegg.com - ASUS P8H61-M LX (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS


and

Newegg.com - Intel Pentium E6700 Wolfdale 3.2GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor BX80571E6700


Now i have never used INTEL and dont know what processors are better than others, all i know is a 3.2 ghz dual is PLENTY for what i plan on doing, which is make apps for the iPhone.

Would I be able to get (download or purchase) a retail DVD of the newest OSX and install on this build? I have a 320gb 3gb/s seta drive, ( i know IDE wont work ).


The entire build is only about 230 bucks with shipping, which is well within my budget. I would preferably want to be at 500 or lower,(lower is better or might as well buy a mac Mini)


Whats your Opinion on this build? Recomennded parts?
