Although I am not new to computers, I am new to this OSx86 stuff, so please forgive me if I sound stupid.

Basically, I have a computer with a 1.7GHz Pentium 4 CPU and 768MB of RAM (although I plan to upgrade that to as much as my motherboard will allow).

It has 2 HDs, one of which the computer boots from at the moment which has my Windows XP install on it and one which I want to use for OSx86.

I obviously will need to use a duel boot system what will let me use two hard drives (not petitions).

The OSx86 thing I'm currently downloading is iATKOS 10.5.5 but if you recommend me a better one I can use it because I only have 0.5% of my (currently paused) download done so far.

So, what do you recommend? What kernal, patches etc. should I use? What boxes do I tick on the installer?

Your cpu doesn't support SSE3 instructions so you should probably use kalyway with SSE2. Post your full specs ie video card, sound card, ethernet card. You'll have to format your 2nd HD using the built-in disk utility with your leopard boot DVD. I can't tell you what to select in customization if you don't post the full specs. You can use this guide to dual boot with windows xp and leopard.
