got it. all better. three more questions.

one i read in another forum that the OS will try to find a certain file kext that doesn't exist with ideneb, and i should just delete it because it hogs processing speed. is this true?

two, i have OS X on one hard drive, and Win Xp Performance on another hard drive. is it dangerous to boot up in mac with the Win Xp hard drive plugged in? will os x make the hard drive unreadable?

three, for some reason i can't install WoW on here. i don't really know what's going on. this whole mac format is all too new to me

    I have a:
    nVidia geforce 9400gt
    dual core 1.8ghz

I installed using the MBR partition and added all of the 10.5.6 ready patches. I think I have tried everything. Could you please help out...

depending on your motherboard you need to flash the bios so that the mac will boot up.

Mac OSX on ASUS P5Q and ASUS P5Q PRO AND SOME OTHER P5Q MOBO ALSO - InsanelyMac Forum

will show you how to flash your bios for an asus pq5 mobo, which is what i have, so this worked for me. you need to find a place that has the bios for your motherboard.
