Question what do i need to know about my PC to install

I was wondering what specific information about my PC i should know before i attempted to install iDeneb 10.5.5 on my HP Pavilion 6500. I know i need to know videocard, soundcard etc. but im curious to the full list of hardware and software i should know before i put in the iDeneb CD and get to the customize point.

also if someone could let me know how i can find my hardware names that would be great. Is there a program that tells you??

    thanks,
    Sheffo

Well I can tell you the basics for your system:

You need Vanilla Kernel, GMAX1300 for video, ApplePS2Controller for keyboard and mousepad, cant tell about your audio none of your report are full, AppleSMBIOS-27-MB, and good luck
