Default Want to upgrade my Mac clone to Snow Leopard

I have a hackintosh that has worked great for 3 years - no problems ever. Someone built it for me, and I have NO idea how to change things on it....

However, I want to upgrade the computer and use Snow Leopard.

Question, how might I determine if this upgrade can be accepted by my systems and hardware components? Could I post the machine's specs here, and would someone be able to tell me if they think it's safe to install Snow Leopard?

    I am currently on 10.5.8

    Many thanks in advance!

    Hi,
If it could run Leopard then it should be able to run SL without much trouble, most of the times.
It is also recommended to do a clean fresh install of SL rather than upgrade from Leopard.

    Cheers
