hi all. Really great forum!
i have the same problem and the same pc.
i tried kallaway 10.5.2 but nothing works.
i can run installation but when i reboot the system, i get "partition error". if i start from dvd with the string "fdisk -u /dev/disk0" (as i read) i get a total hang.

Hi all
im a new to the community.
I really would like to run any possible mac osx on my compaq presario v6000 (v6211au) laptop with amd turion processor as a dual boot (vista home premium). It is predominantly to run loqic pro music production software. ive had my laptop upgraded to 2gb ram. Ive tried many different osx versions to no avail.
XXX 10.5.6 and ideneb 10.5.6 were the ones that completd installation. But post installation im not able to boot the mac osx at all. Ive tried booting with the disk in the drive and without but nothing seems to work.
Any help on which particular osx version is best suited for this laptop would be great. Someone please help me
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I've tried many distros and the only one that is ok is Jas mac os x 10.4.8 AMD INTEL. (under VMWARE)
Installation ok (VMWARE and real)
partition ok (VMWARE ok, real I don't know)
booting ok but keyboard and mouse not recognized. With an Usb mouse and usb keyboard same pb.
I've a compaq presario V6341ea (turion TL-52, nvidia geforce go 6150 with 4go ram Kingston Hyper X (2gb by default)).
Did you have tried anything else? I'm searching to make keyboard and usb functional. Keyboard and mouse are functional during the installation but when booting, a message error is telling me that no keyboard is plugged in!
