I'd like to install OSx86 on my Acer E380, but I don't exactly know what I have to do, before installing OSx. I planned to backup my Windows and do a clear OSx install, so I could change back to the way it was, if there would be problems, you know.... I hope you guys can help me out. thx in advance

Try with Kalyway or Lawless

is there no solution for this kind of problem?

I also tried to install Kalyway 10.5.1...but it's not able to boot from the DVD...cause everytime I tried it, it repeats the message "Press Any....to boot from the DVD or F8 for options.."

Did you try cpus=1 -v in darwin? if it doesnt work try with lawless then

I tried it...but there is still the error message...

by the way.....what is the error message trying to say? I cannot understand it that well.......

What distro did you used? did you installed or the installation dont even boot?

Well....I tried both...LawlessPPC and Kalyway...but on Lawless there is still the same problem, and that Kalyway may was a bad ISO...so I downloaded a new one. The new Kalyway 10.5.2 worked....but when I installed it....after a few minutes, a message appear and said ...."install failed.." and so on...and I should reboot It didn't even mentioned what the failed installation was caused by...hmmm.....man...this is going to be very difficult
