I have not virtualised it via mounting it off alcohol 120% because not all the files will load. How am I actually meant to be doing this? or am i missing some specs?
AMD Phenom II X3 710 Processor 2.61 GHZ
NVIDIA GeForce 7025 / NVIDIA nForce 630a (Microsoft Corporation - WDDM)
Oh and I dont have a CD drive and my harddrive is still connected via a ribbon cable not SATA
That's an odd place for it to hang. Did you check your disk for errors after you downloaded it?

Your problem might be related to the settings of your virtual machine. Specifically, there is a .vmx file that was created when you made a new virtual machine. If you could paste the contents of that, someone might be able to help you.
What version of VMWare are you running? You could also trying patching it to a more recent version.
I haven't gotten anything past 10.5.2 running in VMWare yet. I'm hoping to get 10.5.7 running in the next month.
