Vista Dual Boot - Boot 132 Method
Hello everyone, I'm planning on following the Method I bootloader (Step 11) on MAC OS X LEOPARD RETAIL ON ASUS P5Q / P5Q PRO / P5Q-EM AND OTHERS - InsanelyMac Forum
I already have Windows Vista installed on my 500gb hard drive. In Step 4, it mentions I'll need 2 partitions, the Mac partition and then the Mac OS X retail partition. I want to use the Windows bootloader, so how would I set my system up properly? I have an Ubuntu 8.04 live DVD if I need to recover my files, and I'm using Acronis Disk Director to resize my ntfs partition to 400 gb, and creating the 2 other partitions I need.

Retail, you just have to edit the boot.ini in windows, Xp I know works this way, not sure about windows 7 as it on another machine.
Most important when installing this way,
Install OSX first, then install Windows to the other partition, after you install XP, Vista. You then edit the boot.ini file with the Chain0 in order to boot osx, when in darwin you can go back to the XP drive and OSX.
I'm using it right now, have been for about 10 months
