    Unhappy Virus, Trojan or Rootkit?

    Hi,

Was wondering whether one can suffer from a trojan, virus, any kind of malware when installing a retail Mac OS X via boot-132, PC-EFI or Chameleon on a hackintosh.

Is there a chance that someone implemented malicious code in any of the boot loaders that run "outside and beneath" Apple's official OS version?

Could boot, boot0 or boot1h be used for this? Any of the hacked kexts?

    Thanks for shedding some light.

I highly doubt it. These methods you named have been used extensively in the osx86 community and if there were any malware in them it would've been spotted by now.
I dont think its even possible to put malicious code in bood loaders anyway..
