Usual rebooting problem
Trying to install iDeneb on an older Dell inspiron 8500. It has a p4 with SSE2, 2g ram, 40g hd, nvidia 4400 graphics card.
Install goes fine, then on first reboot the Darwin thing loads, then a flash of a grey screen with the apple in it then hard (and ungraceful) shutdown, where the system reboots.
Tried cpus=1, cpus=1 -f, -x, different custom install options, everything. Been reading the forums for an hour or so and see lots of this same problem, but no definitive solution.
Anyone know what the cause is and how to fix?
