    Talking Upgrading to 10.5.7

Hi, I'm new to this forum, but not new to computers.

I just have a few quick questions....

    I have a Dell Inspiron E1505,
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.67 GHz
    RAM: 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM
Intel GMA 950 Integrated Graphics Chipset (it sucks, I know)
Network: Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller
    Sound: Sigmatel Audio 9200
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
    *----------------------------------------------
    Kernel: 9.3 Vanilla
    Bootloader: Chameleon 2.0 RC
    *----------------------------------------------

I installed the Kalyway 10.5.2 install DVD, and then upgraded to 10.5.3 using the Kalyway Combo Update Package.

In order to get my graphics to work, I had to do the whole "movevideodrivers /" thing. I don't remember what the command was.

Ok, so there is my system info and history, I'm currently at Kalyway 10.5.3.

I've heard, by using the official Vanilla Kernel, that you can update to 10.5.7 using the "Software Update"

    Is this true?

I know that you must have the "Disabler.kext" and "AppleDecrypt.kext" in order to do this.

I need to know if I can update without doing ANYTHING and just use the Software Update, or if I need to do a few things like DSDT patching or using different kernels and what not.

Also... do I need to patch my DSDT if I am running the Vanilla Kernel?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks for helping.
