Unable to install any distro now on Dell Latitude D630
I have a dell D630 Core 2 Duo, 4G of ram, intel graphics; before I was able to at least able to install iATKOS or Kalaway, but now not matter which distro I use to boot with, I get kernel panic every single time, no matter what I try. I must have tried over 50 times now and still the same thing, kernel panic every time. What can I do to get past the kernel panic? I've deleted the partition my previous install was on, reset my BIOS settings, tried -v, -v cpus=1 or -v cpus=2, what else can I try?

Actually I remembered reading somewhere that if you change something, doesn't matter what, in the BIOS then reboot, you won't get the kernel panic and that is what worked for me.
