Trying to install leopard but keeps REBOOTING!!!
Hey everyone!
First, my specs are Asus P6T (Non-deluxe,Non-SE),Core i7, 12Gb of DDR3 ram, ATi Radeon 4670 HD. I followed the guide on "insanelymac" and I followed the tutorial exactly but after I write the line rd(0,1)/mach_kernel.voodoo busratio=20 -v -f rd=disk1s3
It seems everything is going well, many text are flying by and then it stops with some multiplier question and it asks if i want to continue press "Y" and I do. The whole process restarts after that! What can it be? Am i doing something wrong? Im doing the boot-132 method. Also, I tried using the Hazard Snow leopard but I don't know which kernel to use. Can someone can recommend me which method to use? Should I go with the hazard distro or the vanilla Leopard install?

There must be something wrong if you followed a tuts and it does not work.
You can go with Hazard or SL but Leopard would not serve much to your system configuration.

Thanks for the reply. The Hazard distro boots up fine i just don't know which kernel to use.
Legacy description says not to use with i7, the atom kernel is only for atom and the other is for amd. which to use?

Your main objective is to get to OSX desktop so whatever kernel would take it there.
Actually, you would need to take SL to 10.6.4 to have better hardware support anyway.
The Legacy after 10.6.2 should be ok.
