I did reinstall with the following features:
- iDeneb
- Dutch Language Pack
- Kernel Voodoo 9.5
- AC97 Audio
- AGPCart
- X1650 71c7 video
- Extra Fonts
That's what I can remember.
Now it boots, but it keeps hanging on "Still waiting for boot device". What's the matter now?

I remember that i have a similar error, and I think that I solve with the follow
try with this fix: ACPI/SSE2 Fix?
And which extencion did you select when you format your hard drive, try with "Mac OS Extended".
Edit: I looked for information of your mother, and I'm not sure, but I think that you has VIA chipset, try installing this kext also: VIA/SiS/Marvell/Uli ( Old VIA-SB )

My chipset is the Intel i865P/PE/G/i848P Rev. A2 according to CPU-Z.
Harddrive formatted as "Mac OS X Extended (Journaled)".
I installed the Intel ICHx fix and now I'm a bit further. Still no boot, because of ANOTHER error.
Actually, because I have a PS/2 keyboard installed the PS/2 Keyboard fix. The description said that I must select the ACPI fix too, so I did.
As result I got the gray bootscreen, but with a "No Entry" sign.
In verbose mode, the following is displayed:
http://s5.tinypic.com/2mwrq6d.jpg
It showed an error in ACPI, so I reinstalled without the ACPI Fix and the PS/2 fix.
This error is returned at boot in verbose:
http://s5.tinypic.com/35mgx6t.jpg
Appearantly a "panic" error.
I tried switches like -x, cpus=1 and platform=OSX86, but I doesn't work.
Also I tried Kalyway (10.5.2), but that one crashes before the installation has even started (restart).
Selected at both installations:
- iDeneb
- Kernel SpeedStep
- AC97 Audio
- AGPCart
- X1650 71c7 video
- Extra Fonts
- Intel ICHX Fix
- Seatbelt fix
- ACPI Kexts (only 1st installation)
- PS/2 Keyboard for ACPI kext (only 1st installation)
Well, which one is the "best" error I can repair from that point most easy.
I'm getting by the way good responses here, so thanks for now.
Kind regards,
