Thanks mate !
Cool, now for the sound:
Open finder and go to /System/Library/Extensions, Delete the following files:
AppleHDA.kext
HDAEnabler.kext
AzaliaAudio.kext
(if any of these arent there, dont worry about it, you just have to be sure there NOT inside this folder)
Once youve deleted those files, go here:
http://www.cheetha.net/Kext_Helper/S...elper%20b7.zip
this will download a useful app called KEXT HELPER. it lets you install .kexts and does all the hard work for you.
.Kexts, incase you were wondering, are short for "kernel extensions", basically justs bits of code that make stuff work
Once you've downloaded the app, go here:
ALC660.zip
and download ALC660.zip
Extract the .zip and it will contain 2 files, AppleHDA.kext and HDAEnabler.kext
Now, open KEXT HELPER and DRAG both those files onto kext helper, you will have to enter your password then click "easy install" . Once installed, reboot (usually when you install a .kext file your supposed to open the DISK UTILITY app and do something called "repairing the permissions" but i found that if i do this it stops the .kexts from installing properly, so you dont need to do this)
Once rebooted, go to System Preferences/Sound, click on the "output" section, then click on "internal speakers"in the MIDDLE of the box. Hopefully that should do it!
Tell me if it works

Hey,
Sorry for taking so long, no internet connection for over a week, damn internet provider!
Well, didn't work out for me.
I did everything as you said but once I reboot and go to the preferences I have no "internal speakers" option...
Anyway, I'm really glad with my hackintosh, really smooth (the OS X works better with a single core than Vista with dual core :p).
The only problem I found is that you can't run the lessons on garage band: it says you need a dual core processor.
Photoshop, Illustrator, Aperture, Lightroom, InDesign, iWork, iLife, everything runs pretty well and I'm really glad
Thanks a lot for your help mate!
