Question System Config File not found?

    Hi,

I've recently downloaded iPC's distribution of OSX, and have installed it on a spare 80GB IDE hard drive successfully.

The only problem I have is that it doesn't boot up unless I press F8 while the DVD is in the drive, and by typing "rd=disk0s1". Only then will OS X boot successfully. If I try to boot OS X with no DVD within the drive, I get the following error:

System Config File '/com.apple.boot.S/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.boot.plist' not found.

    Any help would be great!!

    Thank you!!

    Geraint Thomas

    No prob, my specs are:

    AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
    nForce 590i SLI
    nVidia GeForce 9800GTX+ 512mb
    2gb 800mhz Ram
    700W PSU

The readme states to install a 'Voodoo' kernal for AMD processors, which I had done. The rest of the customization was fairly basic and had no problems with the install process.

The only thing I did not do was to "On the first boot, make sure you use the -F Boot Flag. This is only needed once". To be honest I'm not sure how to do this. Any thoughts?

    Thanks for the reply though!
