Install as main OS on the 5150 using iATKOS v4 went fine
and i created a video with the right selections..

One thing must be changed and that's the bootloader..
It's original on Darwin and select Chameleon -


About..

I,m on the laptop now and it works very nice, although i choosed Apple sound cause
the sygmatel driver was not in the list and i did not want to use the wrong driver so i played it save..
but the sound quality is not to good so i will look for a better driver..but it works oke.
Maybe the lack of memory (768mb) could also be the lil breaking up of the music when doing other things.

The video i just choosed nv inject and nothing else.

settings , o yea the screen time out works with the vodoo power management although sleep
works it wont wake up ..so i need to fix that still or leave it that way.


If you have more tips always hit me up..
In the about my processor is not recognized but it works . (LOL)

I was not happy about the sound and installed voodoo HD sound kext and the sound is much better now.
Now i would like to see if i can update , but i will not choose to update to 10.5.8 combo , but i will do it 1 by 1
starting with osx 10.5.5 update -10.5.6 update 10.5.7 update and final 10.5.8 update.

From there the system would not be updatable anymore and if i want Snow leo , i will have to install
10.6.x to get there..but for now i like how the system runs

This DellBook has no wifi , but i use the ralink (Eminent 4454) usb stick...it has drivers for 10.5.x

I will let you know how the updates went ..the first one is inn!

The DellBook just died after update 10.5.5

Starting all over again..by the way iAtkos 10.6.3 does't boot i get the Stop sign in the apple logo

Ok She is up again for the 3th time install went fine in one time..love the way one get to learn settings..

About 10.5.7 idenneb..man i don't know what i,m doing wrong , but the machine boots, until the part it needs to go to the dektop and then i get this screen of death saying hold power down to turn system off and reboot..

Also in safe mode -x i cannot get into the system , so i think it's a ACPI problem combined with VIDEO driver..kext.
Of course it's silly to use 10.5.4 with no OS updates , but testing and working show's that the sound is cutting a bit when
also doing something else , so it's like the system has to less memory..768 at this time..i should try 1000 mb but i have no 512 left - but i will get some later at my friend.

Now any of you guys can give me some TIPS or am i a Guru in the land of the blinds
