    Default Stuck at grey screen with apple logo...

    Hi all, I'm new here and I have problem with iatkos 5i, I tried to install on my desktop machine and it says that is successfully installed and that i need to restart computer...I take dvd from dvd drive and restart but i stuck at GRAY SCREEN with Apple Logo in middle, i tried boot it with -v -x -f -s cpus=1 and nothing...always stuck at apple logo my machine is:

    processor Intel Core2Quad Q8300
    ram DDR2 2048MB
    motherboard MSI P43T-C51
    graphic card is GeForce 7300GT
    hdd is Maxtor 6v080E0

    if i put dvd back in it says again to restart machine...

    Can anyone help me? Thx hanceforth


    edit: i tried with cpus=1 -v -x and i got same result-and that is computer stuck in kernel...see image below

    Go through your BIOS settings. That problem there is with hardware initialization. ACPI, CPU features, power setting, memory.
    Your system is very compatible. You may need to use newer release or other distros if the problem can not be resolved.

    what i exactly have to check in bios? and thx for rapid fast response.

    You're welcome. I'm just happen to answer others' problem while seeing your post. I'll need to go shortly.

    Real quick for your BIOS, you may have to do some search see how it's set for your board.
    Enable ACPI, Power setting S3, disable legacy USB, disable all CPU extra features, HFET 32bit.
    Try those real quick, as I don't remember all.
    Boot with -x -v cpus=1 (add in busratio=20 if still stuck there)

    Also it could be wrong custom selections during installation, so you should look into that as well.

    i tried everything as you said and again same as on picture...
    now downloading iatkos v7 and I'll see what will happened.

    I just formated my hard disk and successfully install iatkos v7 but i have exactly same problem, if i turn on machine and dont touch keyboard he come at grey screen with apple logo and stuck over there, or when i use cpus=1 -v -x I've same problem like on picture from my previous post...Maybe I must reconfigure my BIOS settings? Can anyone help me to run MAC on my machine?

    You could recheck your custom selections during installation. What did you select?

    what exactly you mean? I didnt have any custom selections in installation process.

    That is exactly what I mean: Customization selections, and this is the second time I've asked, if you reread my posts carefully. It's supposed to be in installation.
