    Default Stuck Grey Apple screen

    Hi guys I'm just a noob here so forgive me.I'm stuck on my installation at the grey apple screen-however unlike most people's screens mine has a spinning wheel for about a min and then another icon which looks like a no smoking sign just comes up on the apple logo, can anyone help me with this?

    do you have right md5checksum of downloaded dvd?

    While booting up the DVD type -v -x -f boot option
    ???What's your system details?
