Somewhat successful install of iDeneb v1.4... very somewhat.. need some help
I made another attempt at building a Hackintosh. I think I gave up too soon with my other distros. (See my other post: http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/f179/70617.htm)
This time, after install, I booted and got another "boot0: error", but I threw a 'rd=disk0s5 -v' at the boot prompt from the install-dvd and it brought me into Mac OS X. I THINK that by doing this, I was running from the hard drive.. correct? If so, I think I can deal with the booting issues later.
My concern is the failure for any of the peripherals to function. Wireless, ethernet, video, audio.. obviously, if these don't work theres not much point in having this installed. I saw the "Customize" button before proceeding with the install. Is that the only place I can enable the necessary drivers to work? Because I tried enabling a few (something for video and wireless) but was not successful? Is there any other place to do that? With the information I have provided below, can I get any recommendations on how to get these devices to work?
Thanks for your help!
