i've just installed ideneb 1.3 on my Vaio laptop (model VGN-SZ71E/B) once the install had completed it said it needed to restart so i restarted and now once it gets past the grey apple screen the screen just turns into lots of lines, occasionally all turning white, then back to coloured lines.

any idea what i need to do to fix this?
