Default Screen completely distorted once booted after upgrading from 10.5.6 to 10.5.8 [Video]

    Hi All

I just upgraded iDeneb on my laptop from 10.5.6 to 10.5.8. Before upgrading it would boot fine but now it boots up and where the screen usually goes blue it now is all distorted. It boots fine if I use safe mode but this is no good as my network does not work in this mode. I have made a video of the process booting showing the distorted screen at the end. Anyone else have this problem or can help. If not I'm gonna have to go back to using 10.5.6 which I'd rather not. Here is the video.

    Thanks,
    John.

have you try boot with -x32 -f?
    is that intel grafic card?
have you try to bring back grafic kext from 10.5.6?
and by booting -x , do you mean just terminal or you can go to desktop/gui from there?

I should have been clearer in my OP. My graphics card is a ATI HD 4570. I never had any drivers installed under 10.5.6 because I don't think there are any.
I can boot all the way to the desktop when I use the switch -x but the graphics are all distorted and pixilated when I boot normally as you can see in the video.

Thanks a million sowordsman, RadeonHD.kext did the job and now I can finally use my Notebooks native resolution. Only thing now is the mouse cursor is displaying as a mass of pixels. You can see what is supposed to be the cursor in the picture below to the right of the 'b'.
