Currently just bought a samsung r580 and i downloaded the latest empire efi which worked and loaded most of the kexts... but as soon as i inserted the 10.6 dvd it just rebooted and asked me for optional startup options.. when i hit enter it sort of loads the darwin kernel or bootloader.. then my laptop just restarts...
any ideas if anyone can help me
id prefer to talk over aim..

right now my temporary solution is using a 10.6.3 since it has support for the core i5 and gt 310m video card... hopefully that will solve it...
if anyone can guide me on any suggestions during the install that would be great..
i hear there are ways to mess with the boot and to modify some commands around , in order to make the install sucessfull
