Restarting

I installed ideneb 10.5.5 and it installed successfully but now when it goes to boot up the O/S it gets to a darwin section and then the screen goes blank and then it wil restart and it will keep doing this as long as the day is long!! Do i need a processor patch as i currently have a 3.4ghz P4 and 2gb pc3200 Memory, or do i need to change something in the bios, or have i got the wrong O/S..

I am using the inbuilt graphics on the asus p5gd1-pro motherboard

i think that the graphics is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 900

Ok not sure if this will work on your system boot google a bit for a trick called paper clip trick or something like that, they put a paper clip on the vga output, or try to use a external monitor, did you try to boot in safe mode? good luck

all i can get too is to a point of where it says darwin x86 and then it just restarts straight away, this same problem is shown in another forum thread about a dell pc

just the usual settings i installed it right i think it got passed the point of it on the screen saying about 1minute left then it rebooted and then it now wont boot into the mac os. Maybe i was doomed from the start
