[Repeating Boot] Kalaway 10.5.2 to 10.5.8 on HP Compaq DC5100MT
Sorry if this problem been on this forum before.
I searched and Google numerous possibilities to update and get it to boot.
But I failed.
I am using HP Compaq DC5100MT with Kalaway 10.5.2
plus using the Update Tutorial from
How to Update Hackintosh (OSX86) from 10.5.7 to 10.5.8 | Update guides
Downloaded DSDT and applied. And ran the Procedures to Update. Only Phase 2 for Osxtool was not able to run. With same guideline from netkas.org 10.5.8 Update Released..
I end up with an Continuous reboot over and over again.
Use the -v -s -f -x methods from Darwin boot, all no luck.
Pop in the Kalaway Disc to run First Aide. And Still no luck.
Is there some other ways I can get my HP to boot in?
Or Updates need to be done differently?
HP Compaq DC5100MT
Intel Pentium 4 HT SSE3
Intel 915G GPU
Intel Sata / AC'97 Audio
82801 ICH6 / USB
Used Kernel 9.2 Sleep

I don't know if your CPU is dual core or not but if it is, trying using the -cpus=1 flag after pressing F8.
If that don't fix it, then I've read somewhere that it's because of the kernel you picked. I don't seem to make much progress with my situation unless I use the VooDoo Kernel myself.
Sorry, that's all the crappy help I can offer cause I'm a noob too.
