    Default reboot loop with 10.5.5

I'm trying to install 10.5.5 on a Dell Inspiron 6000. System specs:

    Pentium M 1.60 MHz
    Bios Version A03
    1280 MB RAM DDR2 SDRAM
    80 GB HDD
    Video Intel 915 GM Graphics
    Audio Sigmatel 9751

It seems to do OK for a bit and gets past 2 screens where it installs. It reboots and if I don't his a key goes to a grey apple screen. I hit a key and I get to Darwin. I have tried "-v" "-v -x" and "cpus=1 -v" but things stay the same.

I found a link on the osx86project page where 10.4.10 has been installed successfully without any problems but I'm a bit at a loss as what to do to get this on.

I pulled down iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 and the only customization was to choose to install the patches.

I hit "Customize" on the "Install Summary" page. One of the options was "patches".

so you install everything? you need to install just what you need... with this distro you can try this:

    Kernel:
    9.2.0 SpeedStep
    Fix:
    AppleSMBIOS-27-MB
    ApplePS2Controller

    try with that

Thanks found where those are. I found Kernel 9.2.0 Speedstep but wasn't able to find AppleSMBIOS-27-MB or ApplePS2Controller under "Fix".

    The AppleSMBIOS's I have are:

    AppleSMBIOS OLD version 1.0.1
    AppleSMBIOS 667
    AppleSMBIOS 800
    AppleSMBIOS 1066
    AppleSMBIOS 1333
    AppleSMBIOS iMac
    AppleSMBIOS MacBook
    AppleSMBIOS Mac Pro

Is one of those a better choice than the others for me?

    Where is the PS2Controller?

Select one APPLESMBIOS with same Memory Frecuency or pic macbook to test, ps2controller have to be in the fix section... maybe called Ps2 or Ps2nub, this for ppl with ps2 keyboard and mouse, if you have USB wont have any problem
