    Default Reboot During Install?

I've been trying for a week to get iATKOS 5i to work, so I gave up and got iATKOS v7. I get the "com.apple.Boot.Slist" not found error when I have SATA set to IDE mode. So I switch it over to AHCI mode and it starts to install. It's so fast, it's hard to see what it does. A few lines of code drop down and then it reboots. I've tried -x -v for load options and still the save thing. MD5SUM on the .iso is correct. Here are my base specs.

    MSI P35 Platinum
    Intel S775 2.66 Dual Core (E6750)
    ATI HD2600XT (dual/crossfire)
    4GIG of RAM

Any clues? I've checked hardware lists and I don't see a problem with anything that I have. Am I missing something. I used GParted to format in HFS+ before trying anything...

To install in this mobo you will need to mod the bios or install retail with dsdt patch, now you can always try with cpus=1 -v -x, but just gonna get one core working, try that and report back

Yeah I got the -x -y cpus=1 to install it. Though I never wrote down the customized install settings so I got it to install but it sticks at the boot screen.

Next thing I am going to do is update the BIOS, done it before but there has been 3-4 new updates since I last updated them. So I'm going to update the BIOS, get a list of what all drivers I need to install for everything to work and go from there.

    Thanks a bunch. BTW, using -x -y cpus=1 I can leave SATA mode=IDE

Ok, YAH, couldn't find a good list of what I should use to I just went down through the Customize install list, picked out what I had/needed for drivers, read that I should use Voodoo and Chameleon on the install, so I checked both.

Apple boot logo comes up, takes about 10 minutes for the screen to turn blue, a few minutes later it turns gray and starts the apple setup. Now this is where things don't work. I get the keyboard working fine, but it froze on the "What is your computer used for" and the next try it from on the screen after that, the "Setup Account" screen. It does get my apple information correctly from Apple using my iTunes login and pass, so at least I know my ethernet works

I've got to run to a couple of meetings, when I get home maybe someone has some insight? Or I'll try to figure out the problem. I know I am posting a bit much, but hopefully this will help someone in the future that has the same problems.
