Hi,
I recently downloaded the ISO and burned the image for the mac for AMD computers.
I rebooted my computer and booted off of the disc, and when I did everything went fine. But when Loading x86 Darwin came up there was a / alternating to \ which I know is normal, but later the whole system just rebooted. There was no installation screen or anything it just rebooted. And yes I downloaded the AMD installer

My Specs Are
AMD Phenom 9500 Quad Core Processor 2.20 GHZ
3.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA Geoforce 8500gt Graphics Card

Whats your motherboard and chipset? and what distro are you trying to install? mac crack?

My mother board is a

Motherboard Chipset nVIDIA nForce 6100-4xx, AMD K10

I just copied that straight from everest tell me if thats what you wanted.
And im not sure which distro I am using is there any way to tell through the ISO file?

Ok you have to customize your installation, make use a patched kernel like speedstep, and pick nforce patch too, then install your video nvidia, dunno your audio but you can install post installation, also you can change your kernel to voodoo to get better support, but this is post installation, good luck.

So question: Whats your LAN, Wireless and Audio Chipset? and whats distro are you trying to install?

The problem is I cannot even get into the installer. It crashes before i get to it.

When darwin appear type:

cpus=1

I know that is a crucial thing to no but i have no idea what distro i am using

I will try the cpus=1
If it helps the file name is Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI-Rev2

EDIT: I tried the cpus=1 and now it rebooted even faster. When I do it the other way it loads so text when i go into -v but when it reboots the text that pops up comes up way to fast for me to read.

Alright I just tried to install it with LEO4All v.2 and it did the same thing. Do you have any recomendations on which Distro I should use based on my hardware

Try iatkos v5 or ideneb v1.3

Man, I have no idea how to fix this. Any idea? Theres green text that pops up right before it resets if that helps
