Hello to you all. I really need your help guys. I am a computer lover and a girl by the way(not to be surprised by the fact that I don't know basic things) but I think not enough if I am afraid to install a copy of leopard on my laptop. I really am excited about new operating systems, but I have no idea if I can do it on my Acer Aspire 1650.
I am going to give you all the details about it and if you can give me an advice I will be grateful.
- Intel Pentium M processor 740(1.73 Ghz, 533 Mhz FSB, 2 Mb L2 cache)
-ATI Mobility Radeon X300
80 GB HDD
1GB DDR2
802.1b/g wireless LAN
Hopefully this will help. I just need to know if it will work. I have seen that there are different types of this operating system, but i don't know which to choose. And what I do with the drivers. Will i find everything I need? And my last question, sorry guys for being such a nuisance sad.gif , if I install mac osx on my C partition, will i keep my other partition safe or i will lose everything on my computer???
I am really sorry thAT i don't know these things, but I want to be in the trend too biggrin.gif .

It is probably compatible, the only thing I would be worried about is the wireless card. Alot are not compatible and most have to get linksys or some other brand of wireless usb dongle. For your proccessor and specs, I would try the ideneb 10.5.6 latest release. Are you firmiliar on how to use bittorrent or other methods to find / download the os?

Hello. Yes, I know about torrents and downloading stuff. I use utorrent 8.1 at the moment, but what I don'y know and it seems really tricky is what to install to make it work because I don't want to blow it. And honestly, if I had the patience to read all the threads, maybe I would be lucky, but...I hope for a short walk. Can you tell me if the drivers are preinstalled or do I have to look for them. And the wireless thing, you have totally put me in the dark here. I'm starting to think it's not such a good idea after all.We'll see.Thks
