My motherboard is a wistron 303C

My disk is partioned, i have windows 7 an linux on him but i have a free partition of 40gb in raw, my problem is when i put the installation DVD iPC OSx86 10.5.6 Universal PPF5 it just don't install the dvd stops spin on the screen and after i put the option -v it says"Loading HFS+FILE:[/System/Library/Extensions.mkert] from 4230a80", and if i touch the mouse it reboots.
Could it be from the distribution?
Wich one hould you recomend? if there is one...
