[Progress] Dell Studio 13 XPS AKA XPS 1340

I would like to open this thread to post progress in this laptop. Feedback is accepted! Its a great laptop.

Here are the general specs:

Studio XPS 13
Intel® Core2 Duo (2.4, 2.53 or 2.x? dont remember)
4GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1067MHz (2 Dimms) (or 6Gb or 8gb)
NVIDIA® GeForce® 9500M (9200M GS + 9400M) - 256MB Or just 9400M
500GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive
Windows Vista® Home Premium Edition SP1, 64-bit
Slot Load DVD+/-RW (DVD/CD read/write)
High Definition Audio 2.0 (Idt 92hd73c1x5)
Dell Wireless 1515 (atheros) 802.11n Half Mini-Card or 1510 (broadcom)
56 WHr 6-cell Lithium Ion Primary Battery (or 9 cell)
Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Module (2.1+EDR)
Edge-to-Edge 13.3" HD WXGA Slim WLED LCD in Obsidian Black w/1.3 MP Webcam

So ATM:

Working OOTB:

SATA
Webcam
Wifi (if 1510, 1515 doesnt work at all)
LAN
Firewire

Working with some mods:

9400M Integrated card
Trackpad (with gestures)
Sound
Speedstep
Battery

Not working:

Bluetooth
9200M GS part of the 9500M

Issues:

No integrated mic, mic jack doesnt work
Lose of trackpad after sleep-wake
Need to change IOPciFamily.kext for video card to work

Ill atach a zip with all needed files atm.

Instructions:

Install all kexts (replace if necesary)
Delete AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext from AppleACPIPlatform.kext in S/L/E
Install VoodooPS2 controller
Convert and import the plist string's with OSX86Tools
Copy dsdt.aml to your hdd root /
Reboot

How to import plist with OSX86Tools:

Run OSX86 Tools
Select Add EFI Strings/Boot Flag
Select Import Hex/Plist
Select Import File
Select the plist file you just saved, click choose
Select import string to boot editor
Select apply changes to com.apple.boot.plist

Np! ^^....and yea i though bluetooth would work OOTB, its broadcom based...

Which distro did you use, and what options did you choose upon installation? Also, did you choose the "trackpad" option when installing the voodoops2controller? I chose that option and it caused my keyboard to go haywire and my trackpad to stop working.

You have to delete AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext for it to work!!...and i Installed Retail ^^.

I saw your post on IM, you gotta try the full kext and then tell me which one works better. I still have no 100% audio since it works whenever it wants..

Edited first post....... speedstep is now fully working, audio working fine, updated package......

no 3g here, i plugged in another wlan card in the wwan port haha

............and its working quite well, still cant get to work 9500m fully.....just 9400 works........MH....thats almost it....oh battery..meh would be cool to have it working..but thats about all it works just perfectly fine........

You are planning on buying one?
