k.... i think that the generic boot 132 should work... only thing making me wonder was the nvidia chipset...

neways i wonder why nobody is still using snow leopard... the dell 1515 wifi works ootb in SL.... thats the winner for me... i put SL for download today... hopefully it'll be done by day after tomorrow...lol....

although it seems that all the patched .kexts of leo will not work in x64 mode in SL.....hmmmmm....

well will let you all know how it goes....!!!!

Update: i tried the generic boot 132 disk image.... but the disk boot gave

    Error 032. Block 1627264 Sectors 64

    and ultimately rebooted.... ne suggestions???

    Hey Nano,

Thanks for the gud news.. so now I can install OS X om my studio xps 13. I have a problem here as I am new to OS X, I downloaded iPC 10.5.6 PPF5 but I am getting on error on Darwin boot in verboose mode.. it is freezing at "APPLEPS2TRACKPAD: SYNAPTICS TOUCHPAD V7.2".. I tried downloading different distros... but whenever i download, after completing download i get only 400-500 mb iso file... though its properties shows 3-4 GB..

Can please explain which distro is better for studio xps 13 and i appreciate if you can explain me steps to install also. how to partition and all....

    Thanks in advance

    Hi
This is my first try installing OSX.
    I have SXPS13 bestbuy version.
Already installed OSX using XXX 10.5.6 Rev1, but every time that boot, just get a menssage that say something like press your power button for 5 seconds.
    No errors. Nothing.

    Can you help me.
    thanks
