Smile Problems installing OS X on Dell 5150

    Hi guys,

I've downloaded several of the os x releases from various groups and I've never had any success of installing any of these! The most common problem is that the computer reboots in a loop...I don't know why (I'm not an expert but a noob in all this stuff)

Anyway, my system is a pentium D core 2.8 with 2 gig of ram which I think is enough for OS X.

I've tried the boot flags -f -v and some others but it constantly persists on a reboot...

Can anyone give me any indication why this would happen like it does?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Tam.
