Default Problems with iAtkos v7 on my Vostro 1500

Hi, I tried going the pearpc route with my old Compaq a few years ago to no avail. Recently, I have been working on attempting iAtkos v7 on my Dell Vostro 1500. Using my brothers computer to download/burn the iso to a dvd, I popped my disc in, only to have these issues:

With Verbose Mode, my disc drive loads, lights up, and spins until this point:

    "10APIC: VERSION 0x20 Vectors 0:23"

Without Verbose mode, my drive does the same, but the point it stops at is with a grey Apple screen featuring a spinning wheel.

I am desperately searching for compatibility, and so far, all of my parts seem to be compatible. Could it be that i only need to call Dell and receive a new drive? Or is it because of my specs?

    Vostro 1500:

Processor: intel Celeron M 540 1.86 GHz (single core), SSE 1,2,3,3s compatible (CPU-Z Tested)
    Sony CDRWDVD Drive, CRX880A
    Dell 1395 WLAN Mini-Card
    3 GB RAM
    Vista Home Premium

    Please Help!!

I think there are some information on how to install OSX on your computer and you could search for those.

If you knew that all of your parts are compatible then that is good. I don't know why you have to call Dell so can't answer that.

I just feel that since my disc drive craps out on me during installation, and sometimes is not even read by my computer, that Dell could send me a new working one

is there a way to boot to see if there is an error like a kernel panic?

You can try this boot option:

    -x -v cpus=1

    and/or add in, busratio=20

see if you can pass that error.

I just tried with and without busratio=20: with it, i got the same, nothing going on grey apple screen and without it a long list of tasks performed, but still stalled at the point I mentioned earlier

You could do some search for you model.
    Look in HCL.
Will take a look for you later, but I'm busy for now.

Update: I tried with Kalyway 10.5.1, and got hung up at the same message. I have no idea how to fix this error
