Problem with Kalyway 10.5.2 Leopard Dual Booting with XP
I downloaded and successfully burned the Kalyway 10.5.2 Leopard ISO image, and I want to dual boot it on my HP laptop with Windows XP. I created a partition called "Leopard" formatted in FAT32 and gave it 13GB of space.
The disc booted fine, it brought me to the install screen and I selected my Leopard partition, it installed fine in around an hour (I think it took around that time), but then when I restarted my computer it just hung at the gray screen with the Apple and the gray spinny thing for 30 minutes until I shut down my laptop. I didn't have the disc in, and it wouldn't boot into Leopard or XP and when I put the disc in it booted me back to the installation thing. I ended up having to format my HD and restore XP (not a big deal).
I went through this process twice, and I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong. I really want to dual boot with Leopard. Is it because the partition is too small? I did nothing with the "ADD_KEXT_TO_DVD" folder that came with my download because I didn't know what to do with it. I guess I should post specs of my computer...

That is just from right clicking My Computer, if anything else is needed you'll need to tell me how to find it

Well this is AMD processor, so remember that you have to customize your installation, now this what you need basically cuz I dont know your full specs, so before install go to the customize and install a patched kernel like modbin or speedstep and AMD Patch and try again.
Now to dualboot with XP, you have to fix XP boot loader, you can do this with XP Installation disc, then boot into XP and try this:
copy CHAIN0 file from OSX installation DVD to C:\
edit boot.ini
[boot loader]
timeout=1
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOW S
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS=”Micro soft Windows XP Professional” /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
C:\chain0=”OS X Leopard”
<-- just add this string *note: you can name it whatever you want, doesn’t have to be "OS X Leopard"

If I gave you my full specs would you be able to help me better? I don't know where my XP installation disc is at the moment, so is there anyway to get that file without it?
I am not good at all with installing things like this, how do I do a custom installation and install the kernals? I see them when I open the ISO in PowerISO, and what is "AMD Patch"? Sorry for being so annoying... But I'm kind of confused
EDIT: I found the CHAIN0 file, where is boot.ini?

Like I said before install...
See that customize button?

Just one of those kernel modbin or speedstep, and AMD Patch, thats you what you need to at least boot into leopard, then you can install everything else post installation.
About dual boot... you need to download XP, come on if you download leopard you can download XP, is like 500mb or something.

Boot.ini is found in the c:\ drive, or what ever drive windows xp is installed on. It may be hidden so don't forgot to enable vew hidden files and folders in folder options.
