    I'm new to the forum so first of all hi everyone!

    After I have installed iPc without any errors or whatsoever a grey apple screen appears. I've waited for an hour and somewhat but still nothing had happened. It was just completely frozen.

    Does one of you genuises on this site knows what i'm doing wrong?

    Thanks guys!

    Ok made a little progress here. I didn't click on the drivers that needed to be installed so i did. But now under the grey apple screen the loading circly thingy appears which didn't before. However after 5 seconds my monitor tells me "No signal detected" and the screen goes black.

    okay so i tried some more. Instaid of hooking my monitor up trought dvi i tried vga which didn't gave me the no signal. But instead i now get to stare at a screen about halfway filled with babyblue and under that it is white with grey stripes... anyone?

    EDIT: After having waited for a while i get to move my mouse but the old one stays in place though so there are actualy 2 mouses present and i hear music play for about 30s

    EDIT2: Since this seems to be a graphics card problem i thought i'd post my graphics card aswell
    its an asus ati x1600 and i chose it from the drivers section when installing iPc

    I just tried, no success.

    The drivers I selected during install are:
    - Kernel: - 9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel
    - Drivers: - Video Drivers --> ATI --> ATI Radeon X1000 series --> ATI Radeon X1600
    - Chipset Drivers --> LegacyAppleIntelPIIATA
    - Audio Drivers --> Other Audio Drivers --> Azalia Audio
    - Ethernet Drivers --> Realtek R1000

    The hardware I have:
    - Asus P5LD2
    - Intel pentium 4 3.1ghz
    - Asus Ati x1600
    - 2 slots of memory one 1gb and the other 2gb

    EDIT:
    Maybe an interesting fact as well. I do hear some music when the blue and white strange screen appears

    I think you need more than that to get it working, check this site for more info about this distro.

    Anyway try this:
    "Graphics Mode"="800x600x32@60"

    Which ones should I use more do you think? Maybe suggestions which I should try. I think the problems seems to be video drivers..

    I just tried the graphics mode and it gives me a dos like screen with a couple of nodes.

    BTW, I haven't done anything to my bios in any way. Should I?

    Thanks!

    I dont think you need to change something in the BIOS, if you HT tech, try to disable it, but nothing else, try to check in the HCL what works on Pentium 4, it will give u some idea

    I'm sorry but what is HCL?\

    Edit: sorry for not researching, so Hardware Compatibility List (http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.5.6)

    When looking up my motherboard it says:
    P5LD2 SE

    intel954P+intel ICH7 test with Extern USB DRIVE Works! format partition(MacOS Extended(Journaled)!
    iPC OSx86DVD

    9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel
    ATI Radeon x1900ATIinject
    LegacyAppleIntelPIIXATA
    Audio (AzaliaAudio)
    Ethernet (Realtek R1000)

    9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel (if KernelPanic) use [8] Update function Works! fix and Patches
    shutdown/restartfix
    RemoveAppleintelCPUPowerManagment
    Patch DSDT and Verbose Mode

    Now I didn't select those fixes so i'll be trying that and inform you if it worked later today.

    Thanks for your all your help so far!

    EDIT2: Did all the following no success...
