I am using iDeneb 10.5.5

motherboard :: intel
processor :: pentium d 2.8 ghz
ram :: 1gb
hdd :: 500gb sata +120gb ide

my problem ::

everything installs just fine, but at boot time, theres no option to boot into Mac OS. I have used the diskpart commands.

anyone any suggestions ??

is this a dual partition with Windows / Linux

it maybe the Master Boot Partition

the OS distribution

520gb sata :: windows XP
120 gb IDE :: windows xp, linux suse and mac os

at first i installed windows xp (i already had an earlier installation of windows xp), then linux suse and lastly mac os iDeneb !!

the 1st boot device is the 520gb hdd.

any help, please ?? (

Theres some guides for triple boot, google a bit, I think grub is the key ;P report your progress back ;P

thanks, i have done quite a lot of things. and i am not sure which of these fixed the problem

1) i made the drive i was installing to, active (previously it was extended)

2) i used kernel version 9.2.4 (not sure, but its the immediate predecessor of the default one)

3)i used the 1st three cpu fixes available

4) i used the chips fix svb ( i am not sure of the name)

5) used the intel video fixes

6) used intel 100 pro v ethernet fix (ETHERNET DIDNT WORK)

7) removed the firewire drivers

8)last but not least, i edited the linux suse 11.1 grub using the builtin grub editor, and added a section with the last three options selected

thats pretty much everything.

what works now is--

1) cpu ( )

2)usb

3) sound

4) video (is there any way to be sure ??)

6) recognizes all the hard disks

but heres the problem i am still facing --

1) no ethernet (i have got a built in lan card intel (r) pro/100 VE network connection) ... any idea how to work on this ?

2)how to use any non-included language -read or write- ?

3) my PS/2 mouse moves like a rocket, i needed to use a usb mouse. any fix on that one ?

4)how do I use my burner to burn cd/dvd roms ??

To be sure about video, check the system profile, then check the video card, check if you get QE/CI support.

Can you try to get your LAN Chipset?
I think you can find more Language Packs on google, or some forum in your language
With PS2 maybe you can change the speed in system preferences, but yes USB will fix this issue without any problem, just plug it in
To Burn Disc, you can use Disk Utility or download Toast Titanium
